With years of experience, Rooks County Health Center prepares healthy, home cooked meals that often incorporate the local German and French heritages. The kitchen staff strives to meet each patient’s satisfaction while adhering to dietary guidelines set by the patient’s doctor.

- Therapeutic Diets: The Dietary Department provides therapeutic diets, per doctor's orders, for patients needing special meals for their individual needs while they are an inpatient in the hospital.
- To-Go Meals: We provide "To-Go Meals" for the patients leaving the hospital to go home, if needed. The "To-Go Meals" are also for any other person in the community that needs a regular or therapeutic meal for health reasons. These meals are available for $4.50.
- Cafeteria Style Meals: We provide cafeteria style meals for the staff, as well as the patient's family. We also provide meals for the emergency room patients and outpatients.
- Catered Meals: We have catered meals for our local community groups, as well as our own special hospital meetings or dinners. We provide meals for our annual Health Fair that the hospital provides for the public.
