Admissions — Inpatient

Inpatient Admissions

If you know you’re going to be admitted as an inpatient, please bring the following:

  • A list of the medication(s) you’re currently taking
  • Current medical insurance cards or insurance coverage information
  • Photo ID
  • A copy of your Living Will or a Durable Power of Attorney for Health Care Decisions

Please do not bring any valuables.  RCH is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings.

RCH delivers local newspapers to each patient and provides other reading material from the hospital lobby.

Hospital Auxiliary Members deliver patient mail daily.  If you need to send mail, please contact the Business Office.  After you’re released, RCH will forward your mail to your home address.

Flowers and plants will be delivered to your room as they arrive.

If you’re child will be staying at RCH as an inpatient, please feel free to bring any item(s) that may make them more comfortable.
