Construction Update — July 2007
Work continues to move forward on the new hospital's massive foundation. The floor is poured in Area A where the medical clinic and administrative offices will be.
Subcontractors will start pouring the floors in Area B, which will include the lab, radiology, surgery and cardiac rehab, after the underground plumbing and electrical work is complete.
Work on the footings in Area C, which will consist of the emergency room, patient rooms, dietary, labor & delivery and material management, is progressing. Area C will be the last area to have the floor poured.
Later this month, the contractor plans to erect the structural steel in Area A.
