New Midwifery Services

RCH’s Midwifery Services offer a full range of primary health care services for women from adolescence to beyond menopause. These services provided by a Certified Nursing Midwife, include primary care, routine gynecological care, STD/HIV screening, family planning services and contraceptive management. For those ready to begin a family, preconception care and fertility counseling are offered as well as prenatal screening and care during pregnancy.

RCH’s Certified Nursing Midwife offers detailed hands on childbirth education and techniques for non-pharmacologic labor support as well as care and expertise during the postpartum period from breastfeeding support to care of the newborn during the first 28 days of life.

Doctors Without Delay Walk-In Clinic Open Six Days A Week

When you can’t wait to feel better, Rooks County Health Center’s new walk-in clinic has a provider on hand to see you six days a week with no appointment necessary.  Open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, Doctors Without Delay is located inside Rooks County Health Center in Plainville.

Rooks County Health Center invites you to take 15 minutes the first Friday of the month to find out where you stand in your own personal wellness. Through screening and educational offers, RCH puts the power in your hands to potentially avoid costly health issues in the future.

Skilled Swing Bed Services

An unexpected statement for a hospital, but Rooks County Health Center’s (RCH) award winning patient accommodations include a large walk-in shower and bath in each room, large vistas of the Kansas countryside, quality linens for the patient’s comfort, fold-out beds for family and sole control of the TV remote.
