|Jon Voss, Vice-President|
Jon has served on the Board of Directors since May 2007. When asked why he wanted to serve on the board, Jon answered "I believe that every person has a duty to try and better society. As a teacher, we often talk about qualities like leadership, community and citizenship with students. When I was asked to run for the board, I wasn't sure what I would be getting myself in to. But, I decided it would be a perfect opportunity to show students what I meant by my discussions on leadership, community and citizenship. I would encourage people to become an active part of their community."
Jon believes that the dedicated staff — each and every one of them — is Rooks County Health Center's greatest asset. Living in a small community like Rooks County enables us to not only know the patient, but in many cases they are friends, neighbors and family. It allows us to have a more personal relationship with each and every patient that visits Rooks County Health Center.
Jon graduated from Fort Hays State University with a BS in Science and is a teacher. His wife, Diane, works in Stockton and has served on the Library Board, City Commission and is very active in the community. They have two children, Scott and Shawn, who enjoy growing up in a small community.
