|Sheila Hachmeister, Secretary|
Sheila has served on the Board of Directors since May 2005 . She wanted to become a board member because she believes that Rooks County has a quality of life that is unmatched and despite the overall decline of rural America, this area has become very proactive in economic development as well as quality of life issues. She wanted to take an active role in the revitalization of this community and felt the most important place to start was with health care.
Sheila feels that Rooks County Health Center's greatest asset is its people and their dedication: dedication to taking care of patients as if they were family; dedication to the betterment of the communities of Rooks County; and dedication to thriving, not just surviving as a business.
She received her BS in Business Administration from Fort Hays State University and is a C.P.A. She is currently the Chief Accounting Officer for the Dessin Fournir Companies.
Sheila and her husband Ken live on a farm northwest of Natoma, just inside Rooks County. They have three sons; Lucas, Jared and Seth. She is active in the Plainville Ambassador Club, has chaired the after prom committee for two years and has been an officer in the Booster Club. Her whole family is involved in 4-H — both her and her husband have been project or community leaders. Their boys enjoy projects from beef to photography to rocketry.
